D E S I G N
My goal is to create heirloom wedding stationery that sets the tone for your wedding from the moment your guests pry off the wax seal to the day they find their hand calligraphed name on an escort card. I gravitate towards simple styles and loathe anything too perfect. I love the texture of handmade papers and the feathering on the edge of real calligraphy.

How does the custom design process work?
To begin the design process, you’ll first fill out an inquiry on the website. Then, we’ll schedule a consultation to get to know one another, your style preferences, and see if we’re a good fit. The consultation is also a time for education on paper, ink, and printing processes.
How long is this process?
On average, design, print, to delivery can take anywhere from 8 to 12 weeks. Rush orders can be accommodated at a minimum of 6 weeks. Rush projects incur a 20% fee. It is standard to mail wedding invitations 6-8 weeks beforehand and 8-12 weeks ahead for destination weddings.
What kind of paper do you use?
I love working with a variety of handmade papers as well as cotton stock. If you're into a deckled edge, handmade paper is for you and if you prefer a clean, modern look, I recommend cotton stock. I will help you pick the perfect paper for your suite.
What printing methods do you use?
I work in multiple printing methods including letterpress, foil, and digital flat.
What is the investment?
Pricing varies greatly based on design, printing method, paper, and embellishments. Because of the details involved in custom invitation design, quotes are provided by request following a consultation. Semi custom pricing is available in the shop. The average Shotgunning couple spends between $1,500 - $4,000 on calligraphy services.
How does proofing work?
Before your suite goes to print, you get up to 3 digital proofs for fully custom invitations. Semi custom invitations include 1 proof. Additional proofs may delay your project and are subject to a fee of $45/hour. We work closely throughout the design process and it is my experience that suites are typically sent to print within 1-2 proofs.
